These letters to Chad are included
here because they are just too funny.
There is this guy I have liked for the past 7 months. But when I went off
to boarding school and I came back, he was going with another girl. I
don't understand because we were so close. What should I do?
It sounds like when you shipped off he decided to date new
people. Unless 2 people are seriously committed it's not so bad
to have an open relationship where you both remain friends but see other
people. It may be tough at first, but you'll come to realize that it makes
the most sense since you are apart so much of the year.
I'm 12 years old and in seventh grade. I don't feel like I have any
friends. Most of my classmates make fun of me. The people I hang out with
at school never call me or come over. Help!
What you need to do is take action and be patient. When kids tease you try
to show them it doesn't bother you. Think and talk positively.
Discuss stuff with them: movies, teachers, etc. Invite some of your hang
around school pals to your house, suggest exchanging phone numbers or
ideas for the weekend. It may take time for them to see you in a new
light. Maybe even throw a party. You can also look to after-school and
community clubs as a way of meeting others. Hope it works out.
I'm 12 years old and I'm having a problem with my boyfriend. He is going
to fast for me. He always want to kiss me.
No matter what your age, you should never do anything in a relationship
that you are not comfortable with or ready for. Explain to your boyfriend
that you want things to slow down and stick to it. Good Luck!
I have a crush on this girl. She is on my baseball team. We are both 13.
But, I'm kind of shy. And she looks at me a lot. What can I do?
She looks at you a lot, that's a good sign! How about suggesting going for
a snack after the next baseball game or practice? Then you can talk and
see how it goes. Good Luck!
