hell month
Hey Gang,
so the countdown is here already,
I can hardly believe it. a month and a half to D day!!
I booked my flight to San Fran for
June 2 yesterday, so there's no turning back now.
I also did a quick thirty miles (
I never thought I'd think of thirty miles as quick) climbing major hills
in Griffith Park yesterday morning, and tomorrow training buddy JR and I
will do a fat 80 miles!!! Our first together. Sunday is Easter but I'm
gonna try and do some small mileage to keep the blood flowing.... and next
week is the big ALC5 DAY ON THE RIDE. I'm all signed up and we'll simulate
the ride with an all day spin around LA county complete with rest stops
full crew and lunch and everything. Should be an exciting day!
Fundraising is gong INCREDIBLY
well!! we have raised over 16,000 dollars as of today, I'm COMPLETELY
stoked!! We're not stopping there though, we're pushing for at least
20,000 by June 1.
I have absolutely NO doubt we'll
get there. With a team like team Lazzari behind me how can we fail?
lots of love and thanks gang...
talk soon..

So, I know a lot of you have gotten
this from me already this year. Some of you have responded and I CAN'T
THANK you enough!!
SOME of you probably really can't right now for whatever reason and thats
fine too.
Buuuut, SOOOOME of you REALLY want to help me, you've even told me so but
haven't gotten around to it yet. WELL, NOW IS THE TIME!!!
I am spending at least three days a week almost entirely on my bike seat
training for this and my sore ass is only worth it if we can blow the roof
off the money that is being raised.
Team Lazzari is KICKING ASS!!! We are currently the FIFTH highest
fundraisers in the entire city!! I'm so proud of us. But guess what? WE
CAN DO BETTER and I know it!!!
Together we have raised $10,600.00 to date. I believe by the day I leave
for San Francisco June 1 we can reach at least 15!!!!
Give now Give again Give more then ever!! Join the team today then come
welcome us back to town on June 10th and know the incredible part you
played.
Please click on the
link, which will bring you to my fundraising page, and make a
contribution to support my efforts. Your contribution is fully
tax-deductible and will make a real difference in the lives of many
affected by HIV and AIDS.

Ok
Guys, so I've bitten the bullet and am on my brand new TREK road bike,
pics are on the way... wow, what a HUGE difference from the mountain bike
experience, its fast and SO light. My first downhill was scary as hell
because it felt like there was nothing underneath me. I'm starting to
get the hang of changing tires too ;-(
more
soon, Chad
